Is a uap the same as a cna?

UAPs are usually people who are trained to do jobs similar to those of CNAs; however, in most cases, other skills are included, such as phlebotomy, electrocardiography, and administrative functions. They are usually trained by the center that hired them, and certification is not granted anywhere else. However, this is the first time we've heard that UAPs are being trained to administer medications, but I've heard of medical technicians (which I think is a slightly different function)).
